MARIEA ANTOINETTE

To Call Mariea Antoinette’s music beautiful would be an understatement … some might say that Mariea's music is a bit Angelic.  Not only because of the instrument Mariea plays, but because of her command of the instrument.

Mariea has been studying music since her early childhood.  As a native of San Diego, it was only natural that she attended University of California San Diego as an undergrad In Music.  She later studied at the University of Arizona, where she earned a Masters in Harp.  Her private studies include training with Carol Rubbins, Paul Hurst and Eleana Mashecova.

Mariea’s years of hard work and diligence has paid off.  At present, she is Principal Harpist with the South East Symphony.  She has performed at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and has shared the stage with Jaime Foxx, Mary J. Blige, Ivana Trump and many other notable Artists.  It was through her relationship with The Board of Governors, she was asked to perform for First Lady Michelle Obama.  In addition, she has been seen performing at the BET Awards and Pre-Grammy Nomination Ceremonies.

Mariea can be seen live here in Southern California performing with her original design of a “Strolling Harp”.   Her current repertoire includes Classical, Small Jazz Ensemble and R&B.  Mareia is also a member of the renowned Female Jazz Ensemble  “Jazz in Pink”.
