Darnell Phillips
Darnell is a Grammy Winning trumpeter and flugelhornist whose background is mostly Jazz and Soul. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Trumpet from the Full Sail University in Florida, and spent a number of years as lead trumpeter with Johnny Taylor and Bobby Blue Bland.
In addition to having credits on a current Michael Moore film, Darnell has recorded with Wiz Khalifa, Marsha Ambrosius, Lil Jon and Usher. He has also worked with Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy, Eminem, Freddie Gibbs, Wes Orr James, Ty Dolla Sign, and Stephan Marley.
