Dan Farrow

If you've ever purchased a CD, listened to the radio, watched television, gone to the movies or partied to live music ... odds are ... you heard the funky music of Dan Farrow.  Over the past several decades Dan has proven himself to be a world-renown composer, producer, session player, music director and touring musician.

Farrow's curiosity for music came to fruition by age three when he began his first organ lesson.  Born in Zurich Switzerland, like many young European musicians, Dan fell I love with American R&B, Soul, Gospel and Funk music.  He studied endlessly, and eventually it paid off.

While still a teenager, he was asked to perform at the Monteux Jazz Festival with the likes of David Sanborn, George Benson and Al Jarreau.  This date proved to be a stepping stone to an extensive music career as a session player and touring musician.

Over the years Dan has worked as a studio keyboardist with a number of Grammy Award winning Artists.  He has either toured or recorded with such groups as EWF, Prince, Aretha Franklin, Santana, Herbie Hancock, Whitney Houston, Sade, Chick Corea, The Gap Band and many others.  He has also worked with James Brown as his Music Director.

Some of the Gold and Platinum Grammy winning Artists Dan has worked with include, Eric Clapton, Richard Perry, Billy Preston, Ray Charles, Diana Ross, Brenda Russell, Patrice Rushen, June Pointer and Paul Jackson Jr.

Mr. Farrow's music can also be heard on the Touchstone Film "Another Stakeout". He also worked on Kathina Szeto's production of  "Our Neighbors" and a number of other television and film projects.

Dan currently resides in Hollywood, California where he is producing a fourth CD in his home studio.  Dan also leads a five-piece Funk Band which recently completed a tour of Japan and the Philippines.  Farrow is also available for various engagements throughout the World.
